Tips and Tools for Achieving Success in the Canadian Workplace - Rose De Veyra
Rose joined TRIEC in September 2010 as the research and curriculum developer. She brings over 15 years’ experience as an adult educator, leadership and career coach.
Prior to joining TRIEC, Rose worked as Mackenzie Financial Corporation and Investors Group as a senior program consultant and corporate trainer. Since her initial exposure to TRIEC in 2005 as a mentor in The Mentoring Partnership, Rose has continued to pursue her passion for coaching individuals to achieve their goals.
She holds a BA in Mass Communication, is a certified Adult Educator, and is currently working on her HR Management certification.

Tips and Tools for Achieving Success in the Canadian Workplace
The Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) is a multi-stakeholder council that brings leadership together to create and champion solutions to better integrate skilled immigrants in the Toronto Region labour market.
This session features TRIEC’s Finding Talent training video, which follows the journey of Tarek Khan, a skilled immigrant seeking employment. The video, workshop and accompanying self-study guide are important resources for skilled immigrants who are employed and/or looking for work. It provides “behind the scenes” information on how a company recruits and hires new staff and gives you an opportunity to learn from someone else’s challenges.
