Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC)

Maureen Ford is Program Manager of the ICTC initiative that connects employers to newcomer ICT professionals who are employment-ready after completing ICTC’s bridge training program called the Integrated Work Experience Strategy (IWES) Program. IWES is a workforce-solution bridge training program that prepares and assists internationally educated and experienced ICT professionals to secure employment and continue their career in Canada's Digital economy.

Wadih Zaatar
Area Manager Corporate Affairs
Cisco Systems

Wadih is the Cisco Networking Academy Area Manager for Canada since 2010. Prior to this role, he supported the program in the Middle East and Africa since 2005.

Wadih holds a Computer Engineering degree from the Lebanese American University and has published technical articles on microprocessor simulation, neural networks and opensource VPN installation and configuration.

Amin Panjwani, PMP, CSM

Execute Strategy, Inc.

Amin Panjwani is the founding partner at Execute Strategy, Inc. His consulting firm works with clients in the Retail and Financial Services Sectors to help them execute their strategic priorities.

Amin volunteers within the Ismaili Muslim community supporting new immigrants in Canada. Currently he is the National Program Director for Affordable Housing, and was recently the Chairman of the Economic Planning Board for the Ontario region.

Amin lectures at the University of Toronto on Project Management topics. Amin has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Denis Gravelle, BA, MEd

Seneca College

Denis Gravelle is Chair of Continuing Education and Training at Seneca College where he leads CE Academic Program Teams in IT, Engineering and Technology. He is also responsible for Employment Services, IEP Bridging Programs, Government Projects, and Corporate Training. Denis has previously worked at Humber and Fanshawe College leading adult education, online learning, and corporate training initiatives.

Mark Patterson

Mark Patterson is a change maker in career, economic and workforce development. In his current role, Mark is the Executive Director of Magnet, a new network powered by data-rich, job-matching technology that connects job seekers with employers based upon skills, preferences and talent needs. Under Mark’s leadership, Magnet has grown to connect over 90,000+ job-seekers, 9000+ employers, 30+ Universities and Colleges, and over 240+ community partners, since 2014.

In addition, Mark also oversees Hire Immigrants, a program founded in 2007 to provide businesses worldwide with the tools and resources they need to better recruit, retain and promote immigrants, profiling good examples and innovative practices from employers around the globe.

Mannan Mohammed, CSP, Cert.APM, PMI-ACP, SCT, PMP, P.Eng.

Mannan Mohammed has over 20 years of program and project management experience in the automotive, environmental engineering, oil & gas, information technology, and general manufacturing industry. Mannan is a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.), certified sales professional (CSP), SCRUMstudy Certified Trainer (SCT), Certified Agile Project Manager (Cert.APM), , PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), project management professional (PMP) and certified ICE-IE-P professional.

He also holds postgraduate qualifications in applied information technology. Mannan has coached and helped several individuals in improving their project management skills and securing employment in their field.

Kevin Kamal
Senior Manager, Client Relations

Kevin Kamal is a Senior Manager, Client Relations at WES. He has managed WES’ institutional client development and relations for the past 16 years. He works closely with all stakeholders in the academic credential assessment community in Canada.

Prior to joining WES, Kevin has worked in both private and public sectors. He holds a B.A. degree in Sociology and two Master’s degrees, Social Sciences and International Relations, from universities in the United States.

Carl Oliver
Director, School of Applied Technology
Humber College

Carl has been involved with the education of Internationally-Educated Professionals at Humber College for 14 years: as a professor, program coordinator, and most recently as a Director of Professional and Continuing Education. He also spent some time in Humber’s Centre for Teaching and Learning, mentoring faculty on the use of technology and Universal Design Principles in order to enhance student learning.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Science (Physics and Philosophy) from the University of Toronto, a Graduate Certificate in Wireless Telecommunications from Humber, and a Master of Arts in Education from Central Michigan University.
