Joyce Kaplan
Kaplan Coaching

Joyce Kaplan, a Business & Career Coach, specializes in accelerating business results for professionals, executives, and teams; and career design/job transitions. Focusing on clients' goals, performance, and soft skills, Joyce won an International Coach Federation Prism Award for Coaching Excellence.

A lawyer and former Director, Legal Affairs in a public company, Joyce also offers legal and project management services.

Sample volunteering: pet therapy visits with her dog; advisor, Ontario Self-Employment Benefit Program; networking workshop for the Canadian Tamil Alumni Association.

Beatrice Traub-Werner
Dean, Applied Learning and Continuing Education
Adler Graduate Professional School

Beatrice Traub-Werner is a social worker with 30 years’ experience as a clinician, an administrator, and an educator. She has served on and chaired several Boards of Directors and is currently President of the Council of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

In 2009, Beatrice became the Academic Director of the Bridge Training Program for Internationally Educated Psychologists and Allied Mental Health Professionals and recently retired from teaching in this program. She is currently Dean, Applied Learning and Continuing Education at Adler Graduate Professional Schools in Toronto.

Dr. Danny Li
Director of Research and Clinical,TCM Program
Humber College

Dr. Li is a licensed TCM practitioner. He is the director of research and clinical for the government funded TCM program at Humber College, and the president of Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (ATCMPAO).

Danny obtained his Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in Chinese medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He immigrated to Canada in 1989, and has been practicing Chinese medicine and acupuncture in Toronto since 1993.

Dr. Nick De Groot, ND

Dr. Nick De Groot, ND is the Dean of the Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). As Dean, he is responsible for overseeing the naturopathic medical program and for ensuring that the teaching clinics at CCNM meet the highest standards of clinical education and patient care.

Nick holds a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Toronto and his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from CCNM. He sits on a number of international working groups including the AANMC (Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges), the World Naturopathic Federation and the ACCAHC Institute of Medicine Task Force.

Marie Rocchi, B.Sc.Phm., M.Ed.
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy
University of Toronto

Marie is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. She was responsible for the development of the International Pharmacy Graduate (IPG) Program from 1999-2006. In 2007, she developed an interprofessional pan-Canadian course, "Orientation to the Canadian Healthcare System, Culture and Context" for internationally educated health care professionals.

She served as Director of Education of the International Medical Graduate program from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, she returned to the IPG Program as Academic Director. She is the Director of HIRE IEHPs, a suite of open-access online educational resources for IEHPs and employers to support the successful integration of IEHPs into the Canadian workplace.

Caroline Morris
Director of Professional Practice
College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)

Caroline Morris is the Director of Professional Practice at the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) where she is responsible for registration and professional practice. Caroline started her career in medical radiation technology in South Africa where she completed her National Diploma in Radiography and her Higher National Diploma in Post School Education at the Port Elizabeth Technikon.

Caroline has also completed the Canadian Health Association Health Services Administration Diploma and her Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University.

Irina Edilova

Irina provides information, advice and support to International Medical Graduates and Internationally Educated Nurses related to their path to professional practice.

Irina's career has spanned work in education, consular services, international development and most recently, in health workforce advisory services. Currently, she works predominantly with internationally trained doctors and is very passionate about helping them to obtain a medical license or choose a meaningful and rewarding alternative career in Canada.

Florent Villeneuve, RMT
Director of Admissions
Sutherland-Chan School

As part of the admissions journey, Florent frequently meets with internationally trained professionals looking for educational opportunities in health care. For over 18 years, he has worked in adult education, both as a school administrator and instructor in Ontario and in the Maritime Provinces.

Florent has been a board member with associations including the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools, the Ontario Council of Private Massage Therapy Colleges, the Private Career Colleges Association of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia representative to the National Association of Career Colleges.
