Gordon A. Onley has 15 years experience in both the environmental and commercial real estate finance industries, and is a past recipient of the Recycling Council of Ontario's Waste Minimization Award.
Gordon works for Fisher Environment Ltd., speaks on environmental issues, and is an environmental education-provider. He is also a contributing writer for Canadian Real Estate Magazine, and "The Enviro Blog", which addresses how environmental issues impact real estate, urban development and the economy.
Gordon is a member of the Canadian Brownfields Network, the Ontario Environment Industry Association and sits on ONEIA's Brownfield and Advocacy subcommittees.
Lee Weissling is Advocacy Development Officer at the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE). He conducts research and generates reports concerning engineering policy and matters of concern to the engineering profession. He also oversees three Ontario Government funded bridging programs for Internationally Trained Engineers. He has also managed the OSPE Career Services and Professional Development units.
Prior to joining OSPE in May of 2008, Dr. Weissling was Corporate and International Relations Manager for the Centre for Innovative Management at Athabasca University in Alberta.
Dr. Weissling received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geography at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.
Pauline Gavilanez is the Manager, Corporate Human Resources for Tetra Tech. As a graduate of Human Resource Management and coupled with her CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional), Ms. Gavilanez career spans over 17 years of progressive experience in HR in the large Construction, Waste Management, and Engineering industries.
Tetra Tech is a multi-disciplined engineering and consulting firm that provides innovative solutions for the natural resource management, energy, and infrastructure markets with 13,000 employees globally.
As a seasoned HR Professional, Pauline has been focused on the Strategic Development and Implementation of Corporate HR, Global Immigration & Employment and Talent Acquisition.
Rakesh is a Lieutenant Governor appointee to the Council of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), and a member of the organization's Discipline committee and Equity and Diversity Committee.
Rakesh currently works for the Ministry of Transportation. Previously, he worked for MTO, Ontario Power Generation, Multidisciplinary Engineering Companies and Government Sectors in Russia and Nepal. Rakesh has actively participated on several Engineering chapter committees over the years and has been involved in other professional organizations such as the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, the Canadian Society of Value Analysis, and Value Society SAVE International.
The Manager of Admissions at Professional Engineers Ontario since March 2002, Mr. Farag comes to this position from a solid manufacturing base in both Canada; where he was a senior Process Engineer for six years at Celestica; as well as in Sudan, where he supervised the engineering manufacturing team and was assistant production manager at a pharmaceutical company.
Mr. Farag obtained his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Khartoum, Sudan and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada. He came to Canada in 1991.
Randy Sinukoff, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., EP, is a professional engineer and a senior consultant at Stantec Consulting Ltd. Randy specializes in environmental site assessments and remediation, environmental management and auditing, and hazard and risk evaluation.
He is an Environmental Professional and a Designated Consulting Engineer, and has been the project manager or senior technical reviewer for over 4000 environmental projects. Randy has been involved in the authoring of several Canadian and International environmental standards and has worked in industry and environmental consulting for the past 27 years.
As OACETT Business Development Manager, Richard Stamper is responsible for securing and servicing new members and corporate partners. Richard regularly presents OACETT to students and internationally trained professionals.
Through his close connection with companies in the engineering technology industry, Richard has a strong awareness of the challenges facing internationally trained professionals. Richard has over 20 years marketing and business development experience in a number of fields including promotional product, retail, event merchandising and licensing.
Hira started EPIC (Educational Program Innovations Centre) and offered continuing engineering education program from 1992-1997 in partnership with the University of Toronto. EPIC offers professional development program for engineers and also offers licensure program for immigrant engineers.
In 2010, Hira started College of Technology which has a fast-tracking program for immigrant engineers that fills the gaps in their own knowledge and skills to help them get employment in their field.
He is involved in the continuing education community as a Director of the Board in IACET. He is also LERN leader and a member of the International Association of Continuing Engineering Education.

Dr. Garcia is a business development associate and interim program manager with the Gateway for internationally educated professionals at The Raymond G. Chang School of Continuing Studies at Ryerson University. He received his engineering education in El Salvador and his graduate degrees from the University of Toronto (MSc., Ph. D) and Ryerson University (MBA).
Dr.Garcia is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (APEO) and has published over 25 articles in international scientific journals, presented in numerous international conferences and co-authored several patents. He is also the president of GarCan Technologies a consulting company focused on innovation and commercialization assisting innovators to bring their ideas to the market place.
Jag Mohan is an educator, engineer and an entrepreneur with diverse experience in academic administration and consulting engineering practice. He is currently the Dean of the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science, Principal of the Morningside Campus, and an elected Governor on the Board at Centennial College in Toronto. He has over 22 years of experience in the post-secondary public college system in Ontario.
He was recently bestowed with the degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by PRIST University in Southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, where he was born, for his outstanding contribution to engineering education over the past three decades.
Donna has more than 25 years’ experience in talent acquisition in the semiconductor, hi-tech, consulting and resources sectors. She works at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as Global Lead, Talent Acquisition (Software). Donna oversees talent acquisition for North America, and partners with colleagues offshore to deliver plans to support AMD’s talent requirements.
Donna was born and raised in Toronto. She holds B.A.S. (York University), and an MBA (University of Phoenix). A strong believer in diversity, AMD partners with several organizations throughout North America. In Toronto, AMD partners with Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) to expand the company’s talent pool and hire top talent.
