Maureen is a dynamic and innovative facilitator, mentor, thinking partner and executive coach. She began her consulting practice in 1998 in response to the growing need for organizations to engage their employees, build commitment, and inspire performance. She has 15 years of experience in organizational development, change leadership consulting, executive coaching, training design and delivery. She is a partner with Innovation Partners International consulting firm.
In 2001, she was Chair of the Progress Career Planning Institute Board when they came up with the initial idea for the IEP Conference. She is delighted to continue to support this wonderful conference.
Claude has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Waterloo and holds the CHRP designation. He is Vice-President Regulatory Affairs and Registrar at the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA. Claude responsibilities include introducing processes and procedures necessary or advisable to enable the HRPA to fulfill its obligations under the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario Act, 1990, as well as for compliance with other acts HRPA is subject to as a professional regulator.
Claude is also responsible for keeping the Public Register in compliance with the Act, the By-laws and the policies and procedures of the Association.
Vinod Bonthala is a Senior Manager at Deloitte, and one of the leaders focused in the Human Capital consulting projects in Canadian Technology Practice.
Mr. Bonthala has over 18 years of experience in servicing clients in private and public sector throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Prior to Deloitte, he worked in senior leadership roles in other leading consulting companies and spearheaded the project delivery, growth and revenue generation aspects within the technology practices.
Robin has an extensive background in Human Resources, assisting organizations and their people to achieve greater success through alignment of human resources strategies and business imperatives. She has worked extensively with senior executive teams and Boards of Directors on human capital strategies in financial services, technology, manufacturing, supply chain and healthcare organizations.
With over 25 years’ experience, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University, and has achieved the Certified Human Resources Professionals designation (CHRP) as well as completing her certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Waterloo. She is a former Director of the Life Insurance Institute of Canada.
Keith Hernandez is an experienced bilingual HR professional within the Canadian financial industry. In 2007, after 25 years of service with CIBC, and Scotiabank, he decided to become an entrepreneur.
His company KAH Consultants provides consulting support in HR issues, audits and revising HR infrastructures. His expertise also includes intercultural competency, inclusiveness at the leadership level, diversity awareness, newcomers' integration strategy etc.
Keith has become an advocate for supporting newcomers with their careers through mentoring, while coaching them on enhancing their networking skills. He writes articles for several magazines on career advancement for newcomers and for Canadians with an immigrant background.
Latha Sukumar is Executive Director of the Multilingual Community Interpreter Services, (On). Latha is also a lawyer with an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University (“York”) and a graduate degree in Women’s Studies also from York.
An advocate for the rights of immigrant women, Latha has served on a number of community boards. In April 2010, the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), a national organization committed to advancing legal rights, recognized Latha as one of 15 lawyers in Canada who has advanced the equality rights of women. She has spoken in the media, before legislative committees and at public gatherings on victim rights issues.
Alex is a human resources and business leader who works to align people with organizational strategies. He has served on the Boards of the HRPA and the CACEE. He has held senior roles in financial services, retail and professional services, before founding ENGAGE HR, a successful HR consultancy in 2004.
Alex shares his knowledge actively, teaching Human Resources and Leadership for some of Canada's top graduate schools. Alex is also a passionate supporter of internationally educated professionals, working actively to support systemic improvements in the quality and effectiveness of HR systems, yielding productivity and equity gains for individuals and organizations.
Sultana has over 15 years of experience in staffing in various industries and markets. She currently works as a National Account Manager and is responsible for Adecco’s largest client partnerships across the country.
Sultana sits on Adecco’s Diversity council and has been involved in securing alliances with several diverse groups. She also works with our clients in creating strategic diversity business plans and promotes Diversity in the workplace.
